Greetings to our wonderful volunteers!  We are excited to be celebrating another year of raising funds for pediatric research for the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation.  We sincerely hope you will consider being a volunteer for our beautiful benefit for the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation.

You will receive an email confirmation of your selections and occasional reminders as the event draws near. Shifts are on a first-come, first-serve basis, and are based on approximately four hours per shift.  If a position you request is filled, we will put you where we feel you are most needed.  All volunteers must be 16 or older (Please note a parent or responsible adult must accompany anyone under the age of 18.)  A community service letter will be provided showing hours served at the end of your shift.  All requests for community service verification must be submitted before December 31 of the event year.

As a limited number of coat racks will be on site, we ask that you consider carrying your essentials in a fanny pack.  We will not have an area for watching purses, etc…  Please dress in holiday attire and wear comfortable shoes as many positions require standing or walking.  Unfortunately, seating cannot be provided for your shift.  Please note there are vending machines on site, but there is not a concession stand in the facility, and we do not provide meals.  If you wish to bring a snack to consume before or after your shift, there is a limited number of tables and chairs in the atrium of the event site.  In addition, there is a large variety of restaurants in Dearborn.
